I'm in the process of ripping apart an 80's Strat that I have and have just purchased Hot Rails for the bridge. Wondering what you guys might suggest for the neck and middle positions. I am trying to create a very versatile guitar. I play anything from rock to blues. I like the classic Strat sound but would like to keep a good warm clean tone when needed. No buzz! And I'd also like to drop the pickups in without carving up my Strat.

Put Hot Rails in all the positions! I like my pickups to match and it sounds great for a lot of different style and sounds.

Hey man, Welcome to the Forum!

I'd suggest looking into the Duckbuckers, Classic stacks, and Vintage rails if you want stratty sounds with no hum. Those will give you lots of flexibility too.

on my strat i have hot rail bridge a pro track (dimarzio) in middle and quater pound on neck, love it
