Wow... just wow. I've got one in the bridge, and this thing absolutely kills! Super tight bass, great harmonics... simply an excellent metal pickup.

I have a JB and a CC that I have no recollection of buying. Is there a way to date them?

I was reading a thread on another board concerning differences of old SD's vs new. The tone of the thread was that the old were far superior. One guy even scrificed an old one to see and discovered the bobbins at least were identical.
