Hey guys. I am looking at getting a 3 pickup telecaster and am throwing around a few tonal ideas.

The pickups I'll be using are a Harmonic Design Super 90 for the bridge, Wagner Custom Rewinds SR for the middle and a Harmonic Design Vintage Plus for the neck.

Is it possible to get these following connections (preferably in this order)?:

[pos 1] bridge alone - thick, crunchy overdriven rock type stuff
[pos 2] bridge and neck together - clean rhythm
[pos 3] middle and neck together - darker strat quack
[pos 4] neck alone - warm, smooth jazz tone

This looks like a nice tonally diverse range to work with and would be a nice addition to my guitar collection, but will it be possible to wire it with a standard 4-way switch? I honestly have no experience with tele switches.

So what program do you use for your drawings? They look great! Also- do you use a sketch pad (digitizing tablet) or just quot;mousequot; around for doing the freehand lines?

Hey Steve; I use NeoPaint. Its not quite as complex as things like Photoshop, but that's part of what I like about it. Its still full-featured, easy to use, and not too expensive.

I mainly use the quot;arrowquot; keys on the keyboard, but occasionaly use the mouse also. It just depends on which function I'm using. I have pre-drawn a small library of quot;partsquot;, that I cut amp; paste to build larger diagrams.

Its the only paint program I've ever used where the quot;curved linequot; tool makes sense. I love it.
