Looking for a studio quality vocal mic. What is the best one?

Sennheiser bills the MD431 as a live application mic.

For studio work I have my eye on a Rodes K2.

I only want it for live. My bass player has a few studio mics. Thanks for the input Robert. Your buddy Kevin hooked me up on that oil pan/pump. Thanks again.

I don't have any experience with the Sennheiser MD431 but from the list price it had better be good. If I can get a hold of one of my live sound guys I'll ask about it. I'm still getting by on 57s and AKG PL790s.

I could use some help getting into the Frog for an 89X show and any other club help you might be able to offer. It's been awhile since I had to kick in any doors.

We ran the second rehearsal last night and the new line-up is slamming. I just need to write a couple more songs and polish this sucker until it spits. It wont take long from what I heard last night.

I'm looking for a key player as well, keep your ears open........
