This vidcap is taken from the Maiden England tour. What were the guitars and pickups used in both Smith's and Murray's axes at the time? This to me, was the pinnacle of Maiden tone!! I'd love to know how they got it.
Oh yeah, if anyone has any more pictures of these two guitars - please post!!

Adrian did the Charvel thing for a bit. Dave was ESP at the time, IIRC.

Adrians is a Jackson and Daves is an ESP. They're thanking both Seymour duncan pickups and Dimarzio pickups on the inside of the cover. (to SSOASS)

i think the pinnacle of maiden tone was early on with the strat w/ PAF in the neck position, pretty sure this was the setup for killers and earlier.
