I'm thinking about picking up a Traynor YCV in the near future (off ebay of course, i can't afford the retail price). I'm having trouble trying to decide between the 20 and 40 watt combo, and whether i should get the WR version. I really like the look of the WR and it does have the Greenback in it, so should i spend the few extra bucks to get the WR? Any suggestions will help, i play mostly rock type stuff and some metal, and i like to have have a lot of gain at times. thanks everyone.
If you want alot of gain, get the blue 50 Traynor. I have the YCV 40 and it is kind of fender based as far as sounds go. Now if you run a pedal in front of it you will be good to go. I have never played the 20.
yeah i've been hearing about that Traynor blue, but i think i would only be able to get that at retail price (about $600 ). I'm trying to stay on a budget, and i already have a few pedals i could throw in the front. I will keep that open as an option though. anyone else with experience with the 40's and 20's?
