TattooedCarrot showed me this finish that was in the showcase last year for warmoth bodies.
I emailed Gregg to see if they could still do it and he told me they couldn't. It's such a shame. I finally found a paint pattern that I liked for my strat project and it can't be done. I was going to do candy blue flames over top of alpine white, that would have looked really cool, something like this:

Lots of Noise with New SH-4 JB Humbucker
Can somebody please help me out. I hate guitar hum ALOT and so this is really bothering me. So I have a 7-String Jackson with 2 humbuckers, 1 Volume Knob, 1 Tone Control, and a 3-way Switch. Originally, the guitar had 2 Duncan Designs humbuckers. I replaced the bridge pickup with the SH-4 JB (7 string version).

For those with floyds, 2 things
1. Ever have one of the string lock blocks get caught in in the saddle, and not be loose enough to really lock the string properly? this happened to me the other day, when I was restringing it, and the string lock on my b was like this, all I needed to fix it was a small flat head screwdriver, a set of small needlenose pliers, which were originally used for dealing with electronics and such, they need to have small teeth on the tip. I just used the small screw driver to push the block to the middle of the space, then gripping the block very tightly with the pliers, wiggled and pulled ever so slightly until it was finally out. you can't just grip it and pull, without scratching the floyd possibly I had a replacement from stew mac, and now it slides around perfectly. I don't know what causes it to happen, but thats one way to fix it.

Hey Scott....What Was That Amp??
Hey man, what was that amp you were playing through at that first music store we went to in Santa Barbara? The one that had the built in jam tracks and stuff. I think it might have even been a modeling amp too. I just figured I'd read about it if you remembered what it was. Wasn't it pretty cheap too?

About pulling power tubes to lower power...
Does this work in class A operation, or is this modification exclusive to class AB amps?

WTB: Your broken effects pedals
Any non-functioning pedals you want to sell, PM me. Metal chassis is preferred. Stompboxes and wah/volume type rocker pedals. Don't care about paint or condition of electronics. Thanks!
