Dead dog.
Well say hi to a pet project from Thomas and me...hehe we had this idea at the same time that we where getting the plexi ready, but only finished it about a month ago by now..kinda slow lol.
Dunno how much it shows in this clip, but this is one mean thing...it is a cascading drive with three stages, I only ran it at 9v here, it can use a regulator for 15v, but it is almost killing my home amp there

New Vox AC30CC arrives...
Plugged it in for a while this afternoon. Well, it's a Vox, it's heavy as heck (head version), tons of options, tonally sounds very much like an AC30 should.

What Tele bridge pickup could stand up to a neck position Phat Cat?
The header says it all. Well almost all. I'd like the bridge pup to sound more or less like you'd expect a Tele bridge pickup to sound. Maybe leaning a bit towards P-90dom itself, but still identifyably Tele. Doesn't have to be SD. DOES need to be single coil, as I'd like to have decent hum cancellation when the two are combined.

Is it usually more profitable to sell a guitar in parts?
I've got a 1996 Fender Tex-Mex Tele Special that I've been thinking of selling.Together, it's a fairly unique intrument: MIM (and painted in the USA, iirc the details of the Tex-Mex line..), HB in the neck, SC in the bridge, both overwound. 5-way switch, splits the HB on pos. 2 amp; 4. It's in good shape, though the peculiar aging of the finish leads me to believe that the finish was applied before the wood was sufficiently dry, as there are interesting moisture marks all over it. Honestly, the finish flaws bug me but everyone else who see it thinks it's the coolest thing ever. I guess I prefer 'new' to 'character.'
