alright, what color for my 82 57RI?

what i always wanted was a shell pink base color with black over it and areas worn out so you see some shell pink and some wood. so it was like the guitar was bought shell pink and the owner got sick of it and repainted it black then it just got played to hell. that's my relic plan for when i do one.

for a relic? use white.. its f*ckin hot. white relics..

yeah, relics are hot with white or sunburst. i already got a reliced burst and the next after i get done with my kamikaze project will be a white reliced maple board.

If you are gonna relic it anyway? forget Oly white and go for the cream or
bannana pudding(as some people call it) color. I have a 84' MIJ OLYMPIC
White strat That now has turned to a nice bannana pudding.

Yeah, it's all getting relic'd to fit in with the neck and hardware. I'm really thinking about white/vintage white. The only problem, I dont know if it'll look too hot with a maple board. I mean, it looks great with a RW board and aged pickup covers and knobs, and a mint green pickguard.

Need pics?

yeah, kmc, thow up up man.

How's this look?

BTW, This is the real deal. This is my cousin's 81' oly white strat that
has aged into the bannana pudding color. The neck however is a
USACG neck that I tinted for him to match the body. kinda the reverse
of what your doing.

I'll probably go with the honey blond color (whatever the hell you wanna call it) and relic it a little to fit in with the neck.
