couple of quick questions. first, I guess I've been swept up on all of the Eminence hoopla and now I want to get two speakers for my 4 x 12. These will be the only two speakers in the cab and I have in mind a Red Fang and a Governor. However I'm wondering if the Red Fang is to weak. 30 Wrms/ 60 watts is what it says on their website, but I have no clue about it. I don't want to run the risk of blowing it up. The Governor 75Wrms/150W should be fine, but will it over power the Red Fang?

Oh. My. God...
There's the obligatory quot;what gear do you wantquot; thread going around... I've kind of half-assed wanted to trade my $WR SM-900 for an Eden WT-800, so I thought I'd post either that or the Mesa Big Block 750, until I found this...Either 1200w into 4 ohms bridged or 600w into 2 ohms PER CHANNEL. Pretty much the same idea as the SM-900- but built better and 300 more of headroom.

Guitar strings
I write at a bass forum and in the quot;strings sectionquot; (like our guitar shop), some strings are very popular and i haven't seen a single bad word/review about them like, DR High beams, Thomastik Infeld Jazz rounds/flats, La bella flatwounds etc.

XXX vs. 6506/5150 ??
Can anyone tell me the differences and similarities of between the Peavey XXX 2x12 combo, and the Peavey 6505/5150 2x12 combo? Sound wise? Which is better at heavey, Lamb of God type stuff? Which is more versatile and can handle bluesy and jazz type stuff as well as metal?

Footswitch into a Marshall MG15?
Okay, I'm not too keen to upgrade my amp as I'm purchasing a new guitar and plenty of new stomp-boxes in the near future (and it's not a problem to use the amp through a PA-system, right?)
However, I need a footswitch so I can switch between the clean and the dirt channel. Is it possible to use this or this for my purpose, considering I got inputs for quot;CD in amp; emulated line outquot; and quot;Emulated headphonesquot; on my amp...?

Parker Fly Deluxe Mod
Many of you know that I recently acquired a Fly from my brother in law. It has a CC in the bridge, and an AIIP in the neck position (custom wound/constructed by MJ on the original Dimarzio platform). I did not like the split coils in the middle pickup position. It sounded thin and quot;blahquot; and I wanted something better.

Prices at Guitar Center?
I am going to NY for a weekend, and I want to visit Guitar Center at Manhattan to see if I can find a few pedals. I want to take a look at Boss OD-20, DD-20 and PH-3, and the Line6 FM-4. Also, I might want to see if they got a good Fender Stratocaster Lite Ash or a Highway strat.

BYOC Delay up and running
It's working and it's sounding pretty sweet! I had started it last night, then was too tired to continue so I finished up this afternoon. But, I accidentally swapped a few resistors around and I wasn't getting any sound. That's all taken care of now Now...what to build next

HHH Strat wiring CRAZY!
OK, I've got a question for a wiring wiz-bang out there. I'm a little nuts here, but I got a Strat I want to wire. I have HHH Pup's, 3 stacked 500K pots, 1 - 5 way super switch and 2 ON-ON-ON toggles. The middle pot is a Vintage Rail with only 1 set of leads, so unless I open it up I can't tap it or split it. I want to wire it essentially in an HSH config, but use the toggles to run the Bridge and Neck Hums as either Hum, Split or Series. The 5 way I want to select B - BN - BM - MN - BMN (I think, unless you can think of a better combination). I want to configure the pots as Lower=Tone, upper volume for each Pup. Is this possible? This is my first ever attempt at building a guitar from scratch, so I'm going a little (well, a lot) overboard.
