Ok, time for a pickup change...Im looking for, but not restricted to :

I sold one of these from 1973 long before I knew much about guitars and amps. Mine was in bad condition so I never fixed it up to its potential. I would love to hear what one sounded like. Anybody got a clip?

Hey guys.. I've noticed that everyone seems to dig the sound of two high output pickups like the Dimarzio or Duncan Super Distortions wired in Parallel, but I'm wondering if one can do the same thing with two different pickups? I mean if I have let's say a Distortion in the bridge and a Jazz in the neck would it work and sound ok? Just curious.. What does Parallel wiring do for me anyway, and how much harder is it to wire? Does it require two pickups?

what pots would you use for phat cats? 250k or 500k. my guess is 250k but i just want to be sure. thanks

As I'm sure some know, there is a mystique about the original Les Pauls cos they used a wrap-around stop tailpiece instead of the later Tune-O-matic and stop tailpiece. Owners of these wraparound bridges claim they sound better.... have a better tone.
