im gonna be short and sweet, how does the shure sm57 do for micing an acoustic?

SO... today I took a crack at setting up my guitar properly. The heavy gauge strings were NOT me at all, so from what I gathered I knew I had to adjust the intonation and truss rod. And then I went and decided to mess with the action So I set it super low... and the bottom e buzzed like crazy. So then I set it super high(unbearably high) and the E is still buzzing! It doesn't even look like it's hitting the frets. What the hell did I do? This was my first time messing with the truss rod too so I don't know if I should maybe give it more relief or if that will mess something up. One thing I'm noticing is that the strings are very close to the frets near the nut and quite a lot higher as it gets closer to the bridge. WAY more so than on my other guitar. Chalk it up to not knowing what I'm doing and trying to pretend after reading a few things on the net

I don't like the wide fat neck of prs se. does anyone know a guitar similar?

1.) What do non-no-load go from if max is also 250?

Well today was the day I have been waiting for for quite a while, I finally got my Crate V1512. I played it for at least an hour yesterday in the shop and when I got home I plugged it in imediatly and proceeded to jam some songs with my best friend who brought over his Blues Jr. and Epiphone Black Beauty. The amp is very clear and punchy and sounds great with my Schecter, I had a lot of fun backing off the guitar volume with the gain on about 4 and the volume maxed to get powertube breakup and we played for at least an hour. Then while my friend was trying out the amp and I was surfing the web he suddenly was like quot;what the heck?quot; and I asked him what was going on and he said that the amp just turned off, well of course I got over there and it is plugged in with the switch turned on and the light is off and nothing is happening. I flip the switch back and forth and make sure that the power plug is plugged in and it is. We left to bike and let the amp cool down for an hour and it still doesn't turn on, it just sits there. I looked inside of the chassis at the PCB and nothing is visibly loose. What is wrong, I had been looking forward to this moment for the longest time and it sounded so good before it just blipped out. I am bringing it back to the shop tomarrow but I hate to see it go, I love this amp, AAARRRRRGGGHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its so frustrating

Greetings Dudes, I Need New Guitar And Amp Because I Realize That The Ones I Own Are Reaaaaaaaaaaaaaally Bad.

Currently have a Jon Moore Big Dog wired up to Spin-A-Split. The pot is a stock Gibson 300k used for the bridge tone, don't know if the taper is audio or linear.

On my LP a strap screw came off.. how do I fix this? This is incredibly annoying.
