There are those quot;No Loadquot; Pots which go from 0 to 250...
1.) What do non-no-load go from if max is also 250?
2.) Would you recommend those for both volume and tone?
You can buy pots in almost any value you want. We have some here at work that go to 10meg. Traditionally, for guitars, you use 500k's for humbuckers, and 250k's for singles. But its not a hard rule. I'm using 250k's on a couple of my current humbucker guitars to tame the highs, and its not uncommon for folks to use 1 meg's.
Its all a matter of taste, and the guitar you're putting them into.
No I just wanted to know if those quot;no loadquot; pots are special because thy go from 0 to 250 or if ervery pot goes from 0 to 250k anyway...
When a no load tone pot is on full it's bypassed, so it means the sound will be brighter than a regular tone pot on full.
I have them on two guitars, and quite like them
ok thanks because I am thinking of getting a bunch of them...
