I am sitting here and playing my beloved 52RI tele with ants. It's amazing that this guitar has TON of MOJO. I wonder why.

a good Tele has a killer Mojo...I have CS Duncans in mine (It's not a 52 reissue) and it's one of my fav guitars to play...it always feels and sounds great.

.. it's a tele with Duncans.. it's gotta have mojo

brisk, I feel the same way about my 50's reissue with ants. It was just made to be played.

I can't believe I didn't get into Telecasters earlier. I absolutely love my Warmoth. The neck is so beefy so it fits my hand like a glove. The design and layout is so simple, yet so effective. Telecasters just sound so great clean or overdriven and it's the first guitar I usually pick up when I want to noodle around.

The 52s are quite nice! Brisk knows mojo when he sees it!

A good tele is a special thing.

The thing I find about vintage-style tele players is that they generally have a bigger than average interest in dynamics and really want to get to the bottom of what their hands sound like. Being able to wrangle a tele is a thing to be proud of.

i think the elegant simplicity of the tele is the source of mojo ... because it is such an unforgiving instrument, you have to play it 'simply' - at the best of your ability, but never beyond - which also increases the mojo ... whether in appearance, function, or performance, teles just ooze mojo ... and in the hands of a tele-master, it just goes to another universe of mojo ... because in it's simplicity, lies vast vast complexity waiting to be discovered, revealed, and celebrated

I guess you need all that mojo for 80's metal!!!!!! LOL!!!!!!!

You don't need mojo to play 80's Metal...you need big hair, DiMarzio pickups, and 70 4x12 cabs on stage all the time!

Brisk must think you need a tele with alot of mojo for 80's metal becasue he is quot; The Jackie Chan of 80's metalquot;!!!!!!

I concur.

My first real guitar was a Tele and I think it really set a precedent for how much work I had to put in to get things to sound a certain way. The Teles I've played never had those moments where they just seem to quot;play tehmselves.quot; It's a constant disciplined thing where you have to be conscious and thinking all the time.

Now that I own a handfull of Strats and Les Paul I know that when I sit down with my Tele I better be on my game or I'm going to get my ass kicked!

Cuz Teles Rock!!!
