Hi it's Rob from Sydney, my second post here. I've got three strats, one with Fralin U/wound Vintage Hots, one with Vintage Hots SP43 bridge, amp; the other one I want to put some HB's in. It's got an Alder body, maple/rosewood neck, vintage style Callaham bridge. I like classic rock/blues tones.
Do you think then Seth's will work in a strat?
Thank You
I think that it would work great.
It will probably sound quite similar to an early Van Halen sound depending on the amplifier.
I tried one in one of my swamp ash hardtail strats. Sounded good. Although I'm going from memory, I remember the Seth bridge sounding airier and brighter than the A2 59 i tried at one time. The Seth was VH-like, but a little too bright.
Thanks Guys, my only concern was that it might not have enough mids/low mids to compensate for the strat. My amp is custom made 60's Marshall/Fender amp with EL34's.

I have had a Seth Lover in a tele. I like it more in a Les Paul but it sounded pretty sweet. The SL has lots of mids, but maybe not lower mids. The CC might be another choice. It has an a2 magnet but it probably has more lower mid focus. I personally like the Seth Lover a bit more for classic rock.
