I have a USA Hwy 1 Tele with a Fralin Hot Tele bridge pup (10K).. i love it! I've always hated tele neck pups though, and just sold the Fralin tele pup I had in the neck (which was under powered in matching with the bridge anyway)... So.. anyway.. I routed under the pickguard and put a no-name smoked chrome covered quot;Pafquot; style pup in it.. not happenin'. It does sound bad, the high end is decent.. but it's muddy as all hell.

i want a new pup. actually 2 i need one that sounds like metal and one that sounds like zeppelin. any ideas?

Has anyone ever tried any of Carvins guitar kits? I'd like to try putting a guiatr together and was looking for something fairly inexpensive. How is the wood and hardware quility if them? Or would I be better off searching for parts and peices of a strat on ebay?

hey guys, does anyone know of a reliable seller willing to sell me either a 5 string tuner set or a 4 pack and a single? i just need 5 enclosed machineheads, and all my usual sources don't have anything for me

I just got an old 12-string acoustic (about 30 yrs). It sounds reaaalllyyyy good but damn, it's hard to play in tune. A Buzz Feiten install including full setup and fret job costs about $550. This guitar is definetely a keeper, lots of volume, bass and high-end sprinkle.

Man i had a real slap in the face yesterday when a friend on mine came over to jam with his LP.
He just got a DD in the bridge spot and it sounded HUGE! gave my 81 a run for its money!!!!!!

Custom wound for the parker nitefly. Can't get anything else like them. The singles are made specifically to sound like a vintage strat, glassy and chimy as hell. They do that job perfectly, they also quack like hell in the notch positions. The bridge humbucker is hard to describe, it's vintage voiced though and output matches the singles very well. They are all black.

{hey guys. Basically i have just purchased a Randall RG50TV all valve amp. I would like to change all the Valves to something more substantial. as the Electro harmonix tubes inside are pretty subpar.

Okay...got my '51 and my goal is to make it a single pup guitar, just one HB at the bridge and that's it. I'm going to replace the push-pull volume knob with a normal 500K pot but I want to continue using the rotary pickup selector to select Series-Parallel-Split on the HB, but I don't know if the stock switch is up for the job.
