Ok, I've never really gone for Les Pauls as I've always been a Strat style man. However, after recently playing my singers Epi Les Paul Custom I've now got serious GAS for one. The options above show which one's I can get good deals on and/or the ones that appeal so your collective knowledge and opinions will be gratefully received. I would especially like any opinions on the Boneyard (since it is quite different to the other Pauls).

Les Paul Sound, Strat Playabilty
I'm look for a guitar that gets me at least in the ball park -soundwize- of a Les Paul but that has (most importantly) a strat-style bridge (does'nt matter if it's vibrato or not).
I find it difficult to change between the two.

Anyone own or played the Mesa Lonestar Special?
I have really been doing my research and exploring and playing as many Class A amps as I can. Since I am saving money for one it has given me a good amount of time. I have had Boogies in the past and loved em, but I must say this Mesa Lonestar Special seems like a killer amp with a ton of very useful options. Have any of you guys tried them or better yet own one? I am sure it will cost aroun $1300-$1500, but it seems like you would get a lot more bang for the buck as opposed to a boutique handwired amp. I totally assume it will sound good being a Boogie!!

JB on quot;People Get Readyquot;?
I'm talking about the Jeff Beck/Rod Stewart song. I know he's playing a Tele in the video, but I've never heard one sound like that. It sounds very much like a humbucker. Is that the JB?

New to P-90's... A little help?
What are my options with P-90's? If I am looking for a traditional humbucker sound... is this even an option? The guitar is a very clean Gibson ES-137, so I do not want to make any permanent changes. The pickups are stock and there is plenty of room underneath to replace with a stacked pu if desired.
