onto a traditional non floyd one????? I've recently bought a 86 set neck hamer chapparal which is for me one of the best floyd equipped guitars out there so my fender strat special floyd rose is starting to collect dust. So i was thinking if it is possible and financially convenient to convert it to a traditional strat with a 2 point american std or vintage tremolo and a normal non locking nut. I know i can sell the old neck floyd rose tremolo and buy a normal neck from ebay and that would solve the nut problem but what about the floyd posts on the body and the relative conversion to a simple fender tremolo? Any ideas if such an operation would be financially convenient???
I really like the colour (CAR) of the guitar so selling it and buying a new traditional strat is kind of difficult.

the local shop i do business with started carrying Riveras the past few weeks and i swung by there last night to check them out...my wife wasn't feeling good, (neither was i really) but i played on a couple of them with a used Gretsch Silver Jet (which for some reason i was really drawn too)
