A regular of mine had been telling me of his plans to take the Seymours out of his Washburn and transplant them to his Les Paul. Then he rang me to ask me if I could finish the job for him as he didn't have time to do it himself.

I've been on an OD pedal search for the past few weeks, and all avenues of my particular search would eventually wind up pointing at the Hermida Audio Zendrive... so I ordered one from MusicToyz a few minutes ago. Should be in this week, and I'm stoked to finally hear it in person . Any users of the pedal care to chime in with any words of wisdom/elation?
Awesome! I've heard really good things about the Zen Drive. Did you check with Teddy to see if he has any in stock before ordering? I know there's been a few people on the waiting list for when the next shipment comes in. From my experience (which has always been good btw) if it doesn't say IN Stock above the price, it probably isn't and you'll have a wait. Hopefully, he's got some in and you'll be in ZD heaven next week!

Would the JB be too bright in the following set up?

I've never used a talkbox before so I really don't know how they work. i don't have a mic or p.a. (i only play in my room at low volumes. I don't want to spend $150, but I found the danelectro one for $70. will i have everything i need with that one? i dont have an effects loop so can i just run it like a single pedal? will it hurt my amp at all? keep in mind this is just for messing around, i won't be performing or anything so im not concerned with it being low quality or a feedback monster.

Im looking for some VERY clean pickups that would be very...responsive..to tapping and pinch harmonics..im not very biased to output or magnet types..thanks in advance

Finally got a hold of the digital camera so I decided to take some pics. This is the '93 Gibson Nighthawk I got in the other week. You can't really tell, but the fret markers are mother of pearl and what almost looks like alabone at the 12th fret. It's got a mahogany body, 1/4quot; maple cap (some minor flame you can't see in the pics), string-through bridge, 25.5quot; scale.
The Dynamic Duo ('96 Blueshawk, '93 Nighthawk):I also got the pickguard for my SG-X, black/cream/black with a matching truss rod cover. I think it really made difference, dressed it up a bit. Behold, the big_black grind machine!
