Should I get this JCM800?
from : localhost/cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MakeTrack=true
I don't gig at all so I'm not going to be able to really crank it. I was just thinking about upgrading from my JTM30. Also how much do you think it's worth?

Chicago Area Stores
Can anyone recommend any good smaller guitar stores that offer quality/expert service and actually care about selling someone a good instrument? I'm tired of giving my money to the big stores and feeling like I just stepped out of Home Depot when I leave.

Pickups in a Gibson SG for metal?
Well, I just got back from my first practice with my hot-rodded Schecter C-1 Elite and my stock Gibson SG Standard. I just installed a Custom/59 set in the Schecter yesterday and was very impressed by the results. Normally, the SG smokes the Schecter in tone, but the Duncans really make the difference, especially in the guitar's volume. Because of this, I'm thinking of putting a set of Duncans in the SG.

PRS vs Gibson.....guess you gotta have both (ccity music trip)
Wife and I drove to San Diego for the day, I had to stop by ccity music and see Saul and couldn't walk out empty-handed. I couldn't decide between a Navarro and an historic DC special so you guessed it, I got both :doh Now I gotta move out a whale blue custom 22 10-top with birds and a new SG Classic :doh :doh
You're all about the white, aren't you?

Wire the middle pu in reverse?
(stratocaster) Should the middle pu be wired in reverse? I have Di-Marzio HS3 at neck and middle positions which have hum-cancelling and an SSL-3 at the bridge which does not. I have no issues with the way it is but I thought I read something here which made me re-think. Could this also cut out some of the hum on my SSL3? Thanks - Brett
