I'm quite interested in building my own pedals. For the first one I was thinking about an MXR Microamp. It seems rather straightforward, doesn't need that many parts... I guess I could get it together for about 30 or so euros. What I don't know though would be where to get the casing? I have websites for everything else (General Guitar Gadget for the diagrams and Banzaii effects for the parts: advise if you know better!). Also if you have any idea about simpler pedals... But I think I will need a boost sooner or later :P

Hey guys, I wanna change the pickups in my MIM tele but i'm having trouble deciding what to put in the bridge. I've settled on a Vintage Stack in the neck but i just can't decide between a Lil '59 or a Hot Stack in the bridge. They all sound great individually on the soundclips but i'm not sure what would go together best. Does anyone have a guitar with a Vintage Stack in the neck and either of the other 2 in the bridge so they can make a recommendation? (or maybe sound clips?)

Im getting ready to paint my wolfgang red white and black stripes like my avatar. I've never tryed to paint a guitar so any help would be great. Iknow you guys know alot about this kind of stuff so give me some tips on what kind of paint, clear coat, tape, how many coats. Should i start by painting the whole body black and than taping the black strips and than shooting the body white taping the white stripes and than finnish with red. do i use primer before painting? HELP thx Richard

a jazz pickup in the bridge position? I always hear of people using them in the neck but not the bridge.

As some of you may remember, I'm working on my first customising project at the moment, but I'm still aquiring parts. I'm making what I have now discovered is a Tom Delonge style strat, with a single Invader in the bridge and a 500k volume pot.

Title says it all really. I've become really fed up with my Marshall JTM 60 and want something new. I rely on a lot of pedals for a wide variety of sounds. I want something that will do everything well. What do you think?

I'm really a Humbucker person, all around, but I have a H-S-S Ibanez S-Series guitar. I was going to upgrade the single coils when I replaced the Humbucker.
