i just put dimarzios in my lp and am now selling the stock pickups that were in my classic. these are the infamous 500t and the 496r. everyone hates on the 500t, but its really not a bad pickup. it may be a tad bit muddy, but it gives a nice genuine overdriven tone with good treble and harmonics. my dad boughta 500t and put it in his ibanez, so i will include the actual 500t box that came with that pickup. there is plenty of lead wire left as i just snipped it right at the solder joint. the 496r is in perfect condition, full lead left as i unsoldered it from the joints. (the proper way) i will put the 496r in the tone zone box. ill take offers so feel free to pm me. shipping is variable based on buyers location. ill post pics shortly.

i bought a on/on/on switch to slit my duncan designed pups(hb103)
now when i switch the toggle it sounds just a little different than normal.should it sound like a regular single coil where i go wow! thats a big difference?

all i have is a standard fender stratocaster with a peavy amp. The amp has a clean channel and the pre/post gains. it has a switch for modern and vintage sound. and it has a low medium and high knob. The stratocaster has the standard 5 way switch with 3 single coil pickups. which settings should i use to get a good blink-182 or green day sound?

OK, my SX Strat is routed s-s-s (damn! I just bought a Custom from kjrocks), so I'll have to go with a SC-type humbucker.

I thinks I've about had it with OD and distortion stomp boxes. To me, the one's I've tried all seem to have the same annoying traits: distortion boxes all seem to be too fuzzy sounding and OD pedals have a lack of bass and are to thick with mids to the point of sounding cloudy. So far I've tried:

I'm looking to get a delay pedal to use with my synth. I'm trying to decide between the boss DD-3 and DD-6. In your opinion is the DD-6 worth the money.
