Im going crazy trying to figure out what to buy that going to satisfy my ears. I have decided to go with texas hots for the neck and mid. What kind of humbucker should i use for the bridge. I want to give me that nu-metal sound like linkin park or system of a down but i want it to be able to give me good harmonics when i play lead like EVH. Im putting them in a basswood wolfgang body.

I have a Les Paul with two classic pickups made by a huge company located in Nashville....This guitar seems to hum more than any of my others. I recently installed an RS kit and it still seems to be about the same. I have this thing about hum and it appears to me to be pickup related. Does anyone share the observation that a certain classic humbucker pickup hums more than Duncan equivalents?

Which do you prefer ?

this is a SEYMOUR in his guitar not a gibby P.A.F like so many swearthat has to be a duncan because IF i am not mistaken all older gibson pups have ROUND holes at the edge of the bobbins like this next pic.

I have a BRAND NEW set of Grover 18-1 locking tuners, Chrome 3x3 set. I bought it to use on a Les Paul, I bought a P4 with locking tuners so I do not need these. Great for a Washburn Idol. I bought them for $75 total at Guitar Center. I will sell these for $50 shipped in the US. Open package, but they have NEVER been installed. BRAND NEW with package.

I´ve bought a white JB for my HSS american deluxe strat 04', with aged white pickguard (very aged!). The white colour of the pickup doesn´t look good at all in it.
Does anybody know if I can tint the pickup somehow?

I'm looking at getting a dual hum semi-hollow. I am leaning towards the Ibanez, since I think for the money their quality is far better than Epi, but I am curious to see what other players think of these boxes. Post away!!!
