I finally decided to took off the covers from my Seths yesterday... And found a double-cream on the neck slot WOW it looks awesome!

I'm home at my parents now over the holiday and have my tele with Alnico II Pro's with me... I have my Marshall AVT100 permanently situated here so I have something to play with when I'm here over weekends and so.

My friends purchasing one for around $400US. Tell me about this guitar! I've heard a fair bit about it and there is another thread but it's not in depth. Is he getting a good deal?

Question, Knowing your research, which tunes on quot;Blow by Blowquot; is JB using a strat and which tunes is he using humbuckers? I know he's using the infamous TeleGib with JB and Jazz on quot;Cause We Ended As Loversquot; but from what I understand quot;Blow by Blowquot; was where Beck starting leaning toward Strats. Also, we keep seeing pictures of him with the black Les Paul, which would indicate he was using it some on the album. Just a question. JB never ceases to amaze me.Sincerely,

whats the difference between linear and audio pots?

So i'm picking up a Yamaha Pacifica off my mate for £30, H-S-S. It will be doubling up as both a second guitar with a slimmer neck than my SG and i will also be taking it in for my music GCSE next year (because the only guitars they have are squier affinity strats).
I want a bridge pup that can do metal, with a nice thick crunch, but is also versatile. Also, i need good cleans, but i'm thinking i'll need to replace one of the other pups for that because a metal pup probably won't do good cleans.
