How important is it, when installing an original Floyd Rose, to use the mounting studs and screws that come with it, because without some minor work, i cant put mine in because my Ibanez ones are too small. Could i continue using the Ibby ones, or is it generally recommended to switch to the real ones.
Also how can i remove the old, stubborn mounting studs, that seem almost permanently fixed in?

So do any of you guys own and use a peavey XXL? I have the stack and I started playing with a new band recently and I we only have one guitar player right now (me). What kinds of settings do you guys use on your xxl's?

I'm thinking about getting a Cool Rails for the neck on my LTD Lynch guitar. Has anyone tried a CR with a Distortion? It will be used for some soloing but mostly for clean fingerpicked type stuff (think power ballad, lol). If so, what are your impressions, thoughts, etc.?
