Gonna be buying some new caps for my Epi Les Paul. I'v got a Custom in bridge and Jazz in neck position. I generally have the volume and tone controls on 10, but was wondering what the difference between these two cap values would be?

12 string Strat opinions wanted
I'm starting to toy around with the idea of building a 12 string Strat, and I have some thoughts about it, but was interested in some other opinions. Anybody have any thoughts on body and fretboard woods? What about neck radius?
Thanks for any input.

Amp, Pedal and Pickups
Trace Elliot Velocette 1x10 Amplifier for $320:
15 Watts of Class A goodness at a price you'll never find anywhere else. It's the smallest amp I've owned and probably the biggest sounding. These are the amps that gor branded quot;Goldtonequot; by Gibson after the bought Trace. Knob-twiddlers need not apply; Volume, Tone and a bright switch. However it does have a speaker extension switch. You will never find an amp that sounds this good for this price.

Need More Gain. Any Suggestions?
Still love my Classic 30 amp, but I need more gain. My distorion pedal's input jack is pretty messed up and I know I can get a better sound anyway. The Classic 30 is giving me enough gain for any classic rock and some lighter metal but...it's a Classic 30 and I can't always turn it up in the house.
I think most of the long-time members here know I play shred stuff.

Review
Ok, just a little background. These are supposed to be a very unique string on the market. Made out of the type of pure nickel that was available back in the late 50's and early 60's....before steel came into the picture. The nickel is also of a different type of composition than any of the quot;pure nickelquot; strings that are on the market today. The guy who produces them is a vintage tone freak regarding strings, and will only use the finest quot;historically correctquot; materials and methods....like Seymour with the Antiquities. He has done a lot of research and sound comparisions, in addition to being a player for more than 30 years. He has documented the difference in tone from early 60's string to the strings that came out in the 70's....interesting stuff, and has written an amazing series of articles on the subject. He says most people forget that tone starts with you string, as they are the first thing in the tone chain right after your fingers....and that's a good point.
