Where can you get them and how close to Duncans' are they in strength?

I want to add some more crunch to my tone. What pickups would you recmmend? Do they need to be EQ'd tohave more highs or something?

I havent had the chance to play a real marshall plexi but Ive heard them and they sound amazing but Ive played a jmp mastervolume series head and I was wondering if there was a difference tonally between the two. Would a reissue slp or 1987x or an early 70s metal panel head sound closer to a plexi than the mastervolume head? Ive heard the reissues had small transformers and other wiring issues where marshall slacked a bit (but thats just what Ive heard) and Ive heard that the mastervolume series and the early 70s metal panel heads were a bit brighter (at least my mastervolume series head is pretty bright). Would there be any way to change the values of the wiring inside to make it sound closer to a plexi but not doing any major mods to it?

i know that pickups are labeled neck and bridge but what really is the difference... i see that some of them have different resistances but would that make the pickup unusable for the neck position? are they made different? and what about the pickups that are only made for the bridge postion, like the JB, but you wanted something similar for the neck position?...

I love the look of the Gibson Lespauls. I haven´t have the chance to buy one because It means a lot of money but doing an effort saving money I can. I have never play one, just an epiphone one. For now I have an Ibanez rg570 with 59namp;jb it sounds great. But which is the magic of a gibson lespaul? Why a really heavy guitar it´s a symbol in music life. Of course they look great but what more?

i realized that a Twin would be way too heavy, and that i would be fine with a Deluxe Reverb Reissue.

I really did not want to modify my SL bridge, which I really really like, but I took it out of my tele, and put it back in my Les Paul.. and I figured I'd take the cover off, just to experiment - then, behold, I discovered zebra colored bobbins which match my 59n.
