Just threw this together, 2 takes on the solo, I'm really digging this one!

I`ve got a TS-5(modded by Spina) and TS-7 Tubescreamer and IMO they`re great sounding pedals. I just got a chance to play through a Keeley Plus modded TS-9 RI and it had a serious mid hump(I guess that`s what they call it). I`ve heard about Tubescreamers having a mid hump like that but it`s not so evident in my TS-5 and TS-7. Are the TS-9s primarily know for this mid hump or could it be because of the Keeley mod?

I currently have a Hot Rod deluxe that I use for cleans, and I put a good OD in front and can get lots of tones...

I want to grab one of these two pickups today, but I have a couple of questions. First of all I plan on coil tapping which ever pickup I get. Which one has the more traditional Tele sound when coil tapped? Also I can't tell from Seymour's website sound clips which one has the best tone when not split. Consider the fact that I don't care for the muddy sound that some humbuckers are famous for. I guess I am trying to ask which of these two pickups has the clearest humbucker tone? Thanks for your help.

Hey guys, long time no post,

So recently, my Blues Jr. has been buzzing and hissing a lot. Not a hum, but just a lot of excess noise. It never did this before, and I checked the tubes and their glowing orangey and fine. What could the problem be? This is my first tube amp, so I apologize for what may be a very obvious question. Thanks in advance, guys!

Sorry if you gents have seen these, but I thought you might enjoy them if you havent. I'm installing this set tomorrow. I'm pumped! steve
