I know one of the Antiquities (I or II) are wound the opposite of regular Duncans.

I'd like to find a set of pickups for my Tele that will to some degree, maintain the Tele vibe, but will also have a bit more muscle on the higher end. I bought my Tele used about 2 years ago, and it came equipt with SD's Quarter Pounders. Nice tone, but the higher end on either or both pickups combined was very weak. All treble, no meat. I now have a set of Lindy Fralins Blues Specials which are all around much better but the higher end could still use a bit more quot;umphquot; to it. I like the Tele vibe a lot, but I love the high end kick I get out of a humbucker. Any suggestions for a Tele set that can kick like a humbucker but will have a Tele vibe to it? I don't care who make it, and I'll even try a stacked, noiseless desigh if I have to. Thanks.

Well ladies and gentlemen, I'm a proud soon-to-be owner of an Epiphone Les Paul Baritone. You know, the ugly long-necked ones? That's the one. I originally had a Les Paul Custom on layaway, but didn't stash any money on it, so I decided I'd mix up my collection and get a Baritone. Out of the 3 that were there, this was the best playing one. The Iron Cross version had a weird neck, it felt real uncomfortable in my hands. Other than that, it was great. The white one had the same problem, plus the volume pot was pretty screwy. The black one (the one I got) was perfect. Great neck, the pots worked fine, and it felt very comfortable.

Hey guys.. I'm in the process of building a neck thru guitar.. Wish me luck.. It's my first.. Anyway, this guitar will be used for the Brown sound sorta.. Or at least I want to get close and I'll be playing it thru a Digital modeling amp probably going thru the PA.. I'll also be using the Phase shifter of EVH fame..and a tad of delay as my normal settings.. you might say.. and a Wah Wah.. Anyway, the guitar is going to be a 25quot; scale as in PRS, and I've not decided the body shape, but I'm probably going to go with a LP Junior type body and this bridge: from : localhost/which brings me to another questions.. Do I need the pickup that is sized for a Trem or just standard pickup size? I'm only going to have one pickup direclty mounted to the body.. and one volume knob to keep it simple.. What pickup would you folks use? I'm thinking heavily of the 59 or the jb? I also love the Distortion though, but I've found in the past that the lower output pups sound sweeter to me when cranked, and clean up so well.. I love the sound of the sarceno model too in a bolt on neck guitar with a trem.. so I'd like to get that sound sorta.. which to me sounds like an old PAF in a LP.. That's the sound combo I'm after, but I like to be able to clean the guitar up and get good rythem sounds too, but screaming leads.. The guitar will be made of a Maple neck and ebony board neck thru, with Mahogany wings.. honduran mohogany.. Any suggestions.. I'm still leaning toward the 59 as it just sounds so sweet.. Later I hope to get an old old Marshall that I can have modified to up the gain on like EVH did.. or probably I'll buy a used 5150 maybe instead, but I just love the sound of those old Marshalls cranked.

o.k. i started using all my rattler hides to make straps out of. they are all double hand stiched with natural sinew and are backed with premium leather. they range in width from 3 to 4 inches. i see python straps on ebay going for 125 and up and seldom see a rattler on there. i am gonna ask 100 each on these or trade. shipping will be a flat $5.00 in the con. u.s. i dont have a digi cam but i can scan part of the strap to show the patterns. these are huge canebreak rattlers, not diamond backs. they have a different color and pattern which imho is prettier than diamond backs. i will post the pics in just a little while

Has anyone here changed the pups on a Schecter C/SH-1. The guitar is there Strat style hollowbody that comes with Duncan-Designed pups. Anyway I just bought a 4-conductor 59 for the neck and a 4-conductor JB for the bridge. Does anyone know the color code for Schecter?
