Well ladies and gentlemen, I'm a proud soon-to-be owner of an Epiphone Les Paul Baritone. You know, the ugly long-necked ones? That's the one. I originally had a Les Paul Custom on layaway, but didn't stash any money on it, so I decided I'd mix up my collection and get a Baritone. Out of the 3 that were there, this was the best playing one. The Iron Cross version had a weird neck, it felt real uncomfortable in my hands. Other than that, it was great. The white one had the same problem, plus the volume pot was pretty screwy. The black one (the one I got) was perfect. Great neck, the pots worked fine, and it felt very comfortable.

In a few months, she shall be mine.

congrats! Hope you like it as it sounds pretty cool. What is it tuned to? I too have baritone gas but i've been looking at the Fender Jaguar Baritone (tuned E to e so i guess its more like a short bass), especially after building a sub extension for my guitar amp...

I'm pretty sure it's tuned to B or C Standard. When I get it though, I'll probably be tuning it to A Standard or possibly GDGCEA.
