just got a 2-channel dual recto for $1225. it's got he chrome chassis, sweet condition, and it's got groove tubes EL34's in it (you guys know me and my EL34's in my recto).

i just really hope it's here by saturday, because i don't want to have to wait until tuesday (damn holiday weekends).

here are a couple of pictures that the seller emailed to me
as you can see, he had it running for 50 watts, but of course, the rest of the tubes are included as well.

i can't wait for this bad boy to show up at my front door...this is the amp i've wanted for the past 4 or 5 years, and now i'm really anxious to have it in my own posession.

Is it good for the amp to remove some tubes to decrease its power rating??

Doesn't hurt it a bit.
