So it's well documented that during 1978 to 1984 that Tom Anderson built guitars for Schecter right?

Well I knew that.....but I just found something out about my Strings and Things Custom guitar that I got a while back from a blues guy, but was built by Strings and Things in 1981 (Serial number #0104). I have always loved this guitar's neck, and it played so great, even after a bit of a botched refret (which has been fixed, still left stress cracks in the finish on the neck though..ah well, character)...well this neck was so nice, I decided to look into who built the necks for Strings and Things back then...turns out that Schecter made all of the necks and bodies for Strings and Things back in the day...and with mine being a 1981, that means that Tom Anderson more than likely made the guitar that I now hold as a Strings and Things Custom!! damn, makes me wish I'd never stripped the finish on it....I guess I'll have to look into getting it refinished and give it the respect it deserves. (it's the natural electric in my group photo!)

And now Strings is back marketing their own guitars again, but they all apear to be re-branded Rondo stuff.

yeah they are...the strings and things guitars they're making now are really bad..my sister had one for a day before she took it back cause she hated it

Honestly, that surprises me since Rondo's stuff gets such high praise (if the new Samp;T guitars actually ARE rebadged Rondo stuff...). I know I've been happy with my Agile LP.
