Redoing the compressor?
Well what do you think of this idea.
Two in one comp, level and compressionx2.

Pickup mod
Hey guys, I got an Invader 7 string for the bridge slot of my ESP not too long ago and I really dig the sound. I'm just not all that thrilled with the lack of punch it seems to have, there's alot of grind and gain to be found, but just not enough sensitivity. Could I be able to remedy this with a change of bobbins? I'm thinkin that if I were to put some allen head bobbins on the side closer to the neck that it would punch it up a notch, or even if I used some flat poles would that make a difference? This isn't that pressing an issue seeing as how I'm satisfied with my tone, but it would be nice to be completely happy.

Help me with a Tele
Back in the early nineties, Fender made the Telecaster Plus which had Lace Sensor Pups and a Strat Style Hard-Tail bridge.

Help me ID this Gibson Pup
Hey all. It came out of a Gibson Sonex 180 deluxe. Thats what it says on the baseplate, the guys at the shop told me its a Dirty Fingers, but i'm not conviced. It doesn't seem hot enough.

Ever had saddle slippage?
I just replaced the saddles on my Kramer 450G. I had an old Tele bridge I forgot I had and switched out the tired rusty old saddles. These are really close to the original 450G saddles. I adjusted the hieghts (something I was never able to do before) and intonation (ha! after 27 years and with no truss rod the intonation is spot on. Hardly any adjustment needed. Gotta love aluminum necks.) and everthing was grand. I picked up the guitar today and a bunch of the saddle height adjustment screws moved. This is something I have never encountered before. Some of the height screws stick up a good 1/8quot;, I am going to grind them down. I figure it's probably my hand moving them when I palm mute, I just figured there would be more than enough tension on the saddles from the strings. I may not have noticed it because the aluminum expands with hand warmth and I have to retune a couple of times until the neck warms up. Anyone had trouble with Tele or Strat saddles moving on their own?

pickup cover
i put a pickup cover on my Jb bridge to match my neck pickup and now i'm having a harder time getting good feedback... usually it takes a while to start and then it just squeels... is this something i can fix or should i just take it off? also i'm starting to not like the Jb... it's a little too smooth. what should i get to have a more raw sound that will really drive my marshall?
