What's the difference between having 24 frets and 22 frets, except the -2 or 2 frets? Is there a difference in the sound, or is it the same just with 2 frets more, or 2 frets less?

Can I wire an SSL52-1b (bridge) and a SSL52-1 RwRp (middle) to humbuck together without too much frequency cancellation or honk? At first glance it looks like it is possible. Is that what the RwRp was designed for? Has anyone tried this? I searched the forum and could find anything on this.

On Saturday i put an Alnico 8 in my mid 80ies SD Custom.
First impression of the A8: dull grey and the biggest pull on the fridge by far. The ceramic (out of the Custom) has a little more magnetic strength on the edge of the fridge than a A5. But the Alnico 8 need about the double strength to pull it off.

The FedEx man just left it on my desk, so I'll be giving it a review after fiddling with it some tonight. I love my Zendrive so much I had to try this one. From what I've been reading it's more aggressive and has more gain on tap compared to the Zen, and they apparently sound KILLER when using them in tandem.
