I wish they were made in the USA still. I'd love to try one if they were.
they have the usa series which are of course made in the usa. mik stuff are ain't that bad now. guess reverend are targeting the masses. for those who can afford there is the usa series. for those who are looking for a quality axe with a budget, the stage king series is there to fill in the gap.
I bought one of the USA Revs before the prices went up, and it's my favorite guitar. Amazing, perfect neck, resonant body, perfect tone for me. Perfect blues/rock axe.
p.s. since when did we have this!?
1!
i have one of the earlier slingshot with eastpointe neck. its the guitar i play most of the time.
What amp do you use yours with?
a modest lil' blues jr.
Still a cool amp, especially for that guitar. I bet you get some killer bluesy vibes. I'm using mine with a Marshall JTM45/Fender Bassman type amp. Does your Rev still have the stock pickups?
Wow... it's like they went inside my head and created a guitar that I wanted to see:

hahah, that's how i felt the first time I saw the Slingshot Custom. It was exactly what I had been looking for. I don't like the upper horn shape on these Stage King's all that much. Reminds me of a certain Godin model that I can't stand.
a bluesy vibe it does. it can even do hard rock! i use a spina-modded ds-1 with it as well.
yes it does have the stock pickups. somehow, i really find it difficult to put my slingshot down.
The stock pickups are really nice, I just wanted to try something a little punchier for the bridge, so I have an SD Vintage Soapbar on the way. We'll see how that goes over.
that is the model i've been eyeing. likewise, don't really dig the upper horn. somehow, it doesn't flow well with the overall feel of the guitar.
say no to gas now!

apparently the stock p90s uses ceramic mags. do let me know how it turns out with the vintage p90. i am contemplating a set of lollars or sd vintage.
Really? I've been wondering what type of magnets were in the stock Revs. They sound okay, but a little muffled and dark to me. I have to crank my trebel to get them to sound lively.
