that first one would look cool with a relic maple neck with finger stains and cig burns on it along with a relic'd black pickguard and black PUs and knobs with some slightly aged/rusty chrome harware...

They had a few really sharp black limba strat bodies in the showcase as well. Seeing more pics of that wood definitely has me stoked about my next project .

for some reason i keep getting pulled towards this one...
if i wasn't in the middle of a strat build and if i didn't just buy another guitar off TatooedCarrot and if i didn't have to pay for the inlay work on my tele i'd scoop it up for a future project but alas...i've spend way too much $$ on guitars latley so i need to sell a few before i do anything else.

Its a shame the top routed the Spalted maple body.

That is a beauty. I know what you mean about the guitars and $$$, I'm just wrapping up the strat and I just sent money off to get the body and neck for my next project started.

Yeah, I thought that too. I've seen a couple bodies in the showcase that really would have looked better rear-routed. Maybe that's why they're in the showcase
