WOW!!!!!! HAMER MONACO ELITE IN TOBACCO BURST!
from : localhost/cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW
there's a studio custom in my local shop in that exact color and the finish is the best i've ever seen in my life!!!!! why can't this thing come around in a couple of months...why do they come when i'm dead broke!!!!!! my wheels are spinning, trying to think of ways to get the $$$...but i don't have anything else to sell... i'll think of something...that guitar is SCREAMING my name!!!
YUP....a beauty to be sure!!!!
that flame on the guitar is so unbelievable...i forget how many coats they put on their guitars...but this one is so perfect and 3 dimensional...it's uncanny how much it looks like the studion i saw a couple of days ago...uncanny!!! the backs and the necks have the straightest grain you've ever seen...there's no way i can do without one...LOL!!!
Very sweet looking guitar. I've never owned a Hamer but the few that I've played looked and sounded great.

14........according to their site.
yeah and it takes something like 8 days to comlete...!!!
the finish...it's just so subtle yet crisp...it's just perfect!
One of the best built instruments out there. If they would just do something about the headstock and the logo, it would be killer. Just a little too plain for me...given the quality of the rest of the guitar.
Hope you find a way to get yourself one of those Hoss.....
i'm with Jeff on this.... those are awesome looking guitars, but there is just something about that headstock ... kinda like heritages
i've just got to calm down and have patience...(maybe take a cold shower...LOL)...i'll probaby (hopefully) have one before the end of the summer!?!?!? i just hate that this one looks sooooo good and it's for sale now
i'll get over it!

i know what you guys are saying...but after i really took a good look at one...played it...watched the quot;Building an American Legend: DVDquot;...i was absolutely positively SOLD on Hamer's.......the attention to detail is unrivaled and i actually am really starting to like the headstock!?
Consider it stolen. You may pick it up on Monday.
i like the headstock. very clean and i just like the look of it.
pfft.... still not THIS good
The Hamer headstock will become classic, I am sure.
Yeesh,no presure.
Mike,we have a winner for your headstock design, you like that one, you've got it.Also considering that you like that finish, consider it done.My original proposal for a finish and paint scheme is now scrapped. The shop is a Hamer dealer,I'll see about tracking down the colours and clear from whatever company they use.I'll also get details as to the neck dimensions.,(we're running out of room to incorporate stolen ideas in.)
no way man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
after everything...you still amaze me dude!!! the hamer headstock and neck shape will work out great, it's perfect...but i still want a butterscotch finish on the front of the quot;TeleHossquot; and the trans black on the back don't scrap that idea it's to good of a finish scheme man and when it's done...it's going to be too good to be true!!!...plus i love butterscotch too...especially on a telegib kind of project!!!
i'll go ahead and start working on finding some black 3 on a side sperzels now that the headstock shape is agreed upon!
thanks again JohnJohn...YOU ROCK!!!
Mike check your PM's,you want 3 3 black Sperzels-you've got 'em.Do you want me to Feitenize it too?
i'm not real familiar with the buzz feiten system...?!
if you think it will work great with this guitar and increase good tone and intonation...then i trust ya on it!!!
from : localhost/it's a way of tempertuning your guitar so it sounds more accurate to your ear.
For many years violin and classical builders would offset the bridge to compensate for an inaccuracy in the scale length calculations.
With the Feiten system the nut is adjusted to work with the scale length and compensated based on your fret dimensions.
The Earvana system,(better than standard tuning),is a standard compensation.
What makes the Feiten more accurate is it is addjusted for each guitar.
Look at it like this, putting on the Earvana is like taking your MIM Strat and putting in Duncan Designs.Putting in the Feiten is like taking that same Strat and putting in Duncan Custom shops.
