well, lemme start off by saying this thing is friggin sweet, real purdy, feels niiice, but yeah, want new pickups
I'm definately going for a hotrail in the bridge, and for neck i was thinkin vintage mini hum, any idea what the mid position on this'll sound like? I'm kinda goin for like a mean @$$ bridge, PAFey kinda middle position (really rock amp; roll), and a real bluesy (john mayer a la crossroads, but a bit more 'buckerish, real warm amp; gritty) tone. Would this do it? I wanna scrap the middle pickup so only 2 sets of magnets are pulling down on the strings
also, with the rails, will i have more bass response than with my blackout with the '59?
reason i ask is, I'm using misfits strings (11-52) on the blackout, which are hard as crap to find, and about $8 a set, and on these I'd rather go with some d'addario 10-48 nickelwounds, cuz they're cheap amp; bend easier, but i don't wanna lose any bass response, i want TIGHTER bass than on the blackout, but not LESS bass
dunno but congrats on the purchase...and lemme know if that blackout goes up for sale

man I really dig those nashville tele's...I found one used for like $265 once...and got my buddy to buy it because he was looking for an electric guitar...had it about 6 months before he sold it....damn him..I would have bought it from him...anyway
D'addario makes a set of 10's that have slightly thicker bass strings so that you don't lose your bass...I think it's d'addario...
I'd go for a 59 in the neck if you end end up deciding on a full siza hum in stead, i cant say anything for the mini though
ernie ball make skinny top heavy bottom sets - treble 10s, bass 11s..
The Hotrails tele bridge is not really bass heavy. It sounds similar to the Invader Minus the low end and it is a bit more evened out. I like the one in my tele.
I haven't played a guitar with a 59 in the bridge for a long time so I have no idea how much bass the 59 has.
What color is the Guitar?
I want a white Nashville witha maple fretboard but I'd turn mine into an esquire.
its the sunburst one with a rosewood board
looks real rock amp; roll
no way the blackout is goin up for sale, first guitar amp; all that, but i would HIGHLY reccomend anyone who thinks they might like it to get it. To me it sounds like a les paul...only more like what a les paul SHOULD sound like, and you can hit every single fret on the neck EASILY
i don't like EB's, too bright, i had a light top heavy bottom set by them amp; man...no bass AT ALL
where's xssive on this one?
pics man.
hah its just standard right now
I'll take some after it's done
oh, and BUMP
