Hello all, I am new to this forum. Are there two different Full Shred pickups (a neck amp; a bridge model) or just one (a bridge model). Thanks amp; Happy Holidays!

Eric Johnson Trick?
When Eric Johnson uses the stacked single coil form Dimarzio, the HS-3, reportedly he only uses the top coil. Does any one else do this perhaps with stacked SC's?

Fender amps-low or high efficiency speakers?
The old type tweed speakers weren't exactly JBL's for the 59 bassman and tweed twin. They sounded great im sure. Once you get into the blackface zone, rich cleans with a bit of smooth overdrive over the top when cranked are key.

Is this wiring idea even possible??
I own a Schecter Blackjack 006 guitar with Duncan JB/59n pups and a 5 way switch. Since the tone know doesn't really work I have been planning to get it replaced with one of the right taper value (the dealer who sold it to me said that to cut costs schecter uses the same audio taper pots for both tone and volume which is why the tone works so badly for a lot of them). Since I am doing that I thought that it would be cool to have a push-pull installed to tap the pickups. The only problem is I would like a really complicated setup: I want it tp be the same as it is now with the pot in one position and have only single coil tone modes in the other so right now it is:

ACK! I hate being indecisive!
Well, I currently have the Jackson Dinky on credit (I own it, but I'm still paying for it). It's a nice guitar and all, but I'm not sure if it's really quot;mequot;, if you know what I mean. I know the Jackson cult ( ) here will probably push me towards the Jackson, but I discovered a hidden secret. I mean sure, the Dinky has the Sustainiac system (and I've pinpointed exactly which one, too), but if I were to get another guitar I could give in and spend the extra $200, and have a guitar that suits me and my style, along with an awesome feature.

Why do you need ultra hot pickups?
With all of the high gain amps out there, wouldn't vintage output pickups suffice?

SSL-1 Vintage staggered
I plan on installing a set of SSL-1 Vntage staggard pickups in my Mexican Strat (maple fretboard) and was wondering if I should keep the .022uf tone cap or replace it with a .047uf. Thanks!
