I plan on installing a set of SSL-1 Vntage staggard pickups in my Mexican Strat (maple fretboard) and was wondering if I should keep the .022uf tone cap or replace it with a .047uf. Thanks!

I'd stick with .02. Leaves more mids in the signal when you turn the tone control down. Lew
