Okay, another dumb question. In my guitar, I have a three position switch that looks nothing like the one in the diagram (from this site. That one has four contacts and looks to be round, this one has three and is square. I cant upload the picture because the school safety net won't let me, but if anyone knows what im talkin about, tell me what points I should solder the wires to.

I currently have a 59' in the bridge of my LP, but it just isn't doing the job. Nice PAF...vintage rock tone, but just not what I'm after. I've had a JB but it wasn't my thing either.

Can some one help me to understand the difference between these mics? I know they all refer to the pattern that the microphone picks up, but I can't find anything that actually tells the difference between the three..

I have a JB in the bridge position, and was wondering which mini humbucker would work best in the neck position.

I'm looking at a Schecter PT as my humbucker-equipped 2nd Guitar (behind my #1 Nashville Tele). I see it comes with the Duncan-designed HB102 set, about which SD's site sez, quot;The HB-102 was modeled after Seymour's favorite humbucker combination, the USA-made SH-4 JB™ bridge and SH-2n Jazz Model™ neck set.quot;

I've been looking around for (simple chrome barrel) push-push pots that have the switching aspect of the knob recessed into the top, but so far I can't find anything like that at Stewmac, Allparts or WD. Any siggestions?
