Is the Dunlop Crybaby a good first wah pedal? or would you recommend a Vox over the crybaby?

From the strat thread, I gather this could give problems?
I've ordered a Vintage Rails for the bridge of my MIM strat, because it's sounds most like the real thing, but without the hum. Plan is too use this with some kind of 50's single coil in the other two positions, but is this possible?

I figured out that my picking hand starts breaking down and getting sloppy at about 85 bpm doing 16th notes. I'm not talking about tremelo picking one string as I can do that much faster I'm saying playing note for note running scales up and down the fretboard and such. I was doing some scale exercises that wanted me to play at 100bpm playing 16th notes and picking each note and I couldn't get past 85. After 85 I have to start doing hammer-ons and pull-offs. I've been trying to get my pick speed up as some of my favorite guitar plays seem to be able to speed pick like its nothing. Anyone have any tips... and also whats your pick breaking point?

I just recently ordered a ts9 modded to 808 tube screamer from Analogman.
I currently have a Boss Equalizer. Has anyone ever used an EQ with a tubescreamer? Should I keep the tubescreamer by itself. I'm looking for the right tone. I'm in search of the rock/blues sound that I've always wanted.

Ok i have bought a beat up old early 80's JCM 800 50 watt head.... Someone who must of been a metal fan tore the black vinyl off it and covered it in army camo cloth..... (I did see the other thread there about covering an amp in pickup truck liner paint but i don't think that is for me....) I have bought a roll of real black Marshall covering but have yet to add it to the head.... Has anyone recovered Marshalls before and can you give me some pointers..?

Okay, I was just thinking to myself, If Jeff keeps posting these pictures of Hamers then we Godin lovers will strike him back with our own version of Gas. I've been looking for a new high end guitar for about 6 months now, and looking at all the main brands they didn't offer enough value in my opinion. By fortune i came across the godin freeway in a magazine, so I thought to myself I'd check out the website. Later that day I saw the Godin signature LG from : localhost/out some reviews on harmony central and saw it was what I was looking for. Classy, mahogany, already has SD humbuckers, AA grade maple top, made in canada etc. all for about $1300 american. So I went down to the guitar show when it was on about 6 weeks ago, hopeing thered be a godin section... there was.. but there guitars hadn't shown up, so I spent the rest of the day looking for a guy who was meant to be playing a godin signature LG later in the day, I found him and asked if I could play the guitar. It was... awsome. Since then I've been waiting for the Godin signature LGs to be shipped into Australia and in that time only one other guitar crossed my mind, the schecter classic. But I really want the godin so I stuck with it.

anyoneknow the nut width on these, lookin for cheap guitar to mod. or does anybody know any cheaper guitars with a 1 11/16 nut size? thanks
