Has any experienced Guitar builders out there ever made Kramer Baretta style strat shapes? I have been wanting to build my own hand made Kramer 5150 for years and i have made a few strats before in the past....

Ok, so I just spent about 30 minutes with this little pedal. As a baseline comparison I used my unmodded GE-7, I just daisy chained them, mine first, then Johns, so I could switch back and forth. 57' RI Les Paul into the GE7, into the Blues Jr, master volume dimed. Bass set at 6, treble set at 5, mids at 5, reverb 2. Channel volume at 4, so as not to get too much pre-amp distortion. All into my Marshall 4x12 with Gt12-75's.

The proud owner of an EMG ZW set in my schecter!! 85 in bridge 81 in neck and it is a million times better than the other way. Bow to my godly tone!

I guess they're rated at 30 watts. What does this mean in reality? Can the speaker handle 50 watts or is there a chance I could damage it?

is it possible to tap a hot for tele tapped and split a jazz neck concurrently with a cts 500k spst pot?

Im looking for a budget priced good tube overdrive pedal.Yes, we all just LOVE budgets, but i have one to follow while im modding up this squier.

Has anyone tried combining the 5/2 Nashville Studio Strat neck and RWRP middle pickups with a Twangbanger in the bridge? This seems like it should be a good combination, given the lower resonant peak and EQ listed for the 5/2's as compared to SSL-1's or APS-1's. I like the SSL-1/SSL-1/TB combo I have in one Strat, but I'd like something a bit less bright and a bit more chunky to replace the Texas Specials in another Strat. Any comments from 5/2 users would be appreciated. THanks!

I have two Behringer products - a mixer that I use in my recording setup and a volume pedal on my pedalboard. Both are ruggedly built - solid electronics - behave exactly as they should - and are essentially worth a lot more than I paid for them.

can anyone tell me the reason for the slanted humbucker in a kramer beretta?, just curious becuase i have no clue why.

With Dimarzio pups, the white and black are always wired together. I fortunate enough to find a Dimarzio diagram, and it has has the Bamp;W wires running to a splice shrink sleeving. Now if a person doesnt have a few SSS layin around, whats a good alternative? or can the Bamp;W wires be wired to somethin else to compensate?

Well, I was just looking at the gibson custom website, and noticed that there are two different versions of the 1959 standard.
the 1959 standard and the 1959 standard custom authentic.

Is there anyone who actually likes Gibson Humbuckers? (I.E. 490, 500T, Burstbuckers, 57 classic, etc.)

My ears have always know that while my stock Tokai P-90's sounded not too bad... that they are not fully up to the job and would need replacing.

I have a mint Behringer X V-amp floor moddler. I'm looking to trade for a multieffect that has a loop function built into it. I know that the Korg AX units have this function. I'm also intersted in any other unit with this function.

They are cheap, but feel very supple on my Carvin.

Iquot;m not getting any signal from the bridge position of my 3 way switch. The pickup in the bridge used to be in the neck so it's good. The solder joint looks ok so I'm thiniking that the switch must be the problem. I tested it in following fashion: I set my meter to beep when the circuit is completed and attached one lead to the center post on the volume pot for the appropriate position of the switch. I connected the other lead to the post on the switch. Both the middle, neck and bridge positions beeped the meter so I'm guessing the switch is ok. I hope....
I next tested the volume pot for the bridge p/u and found it only ranged from 1.4-2.1 k, not the 0-500k range it roughly should have.

Can you use different brands of pre amp tubes together in the same amp? Thanks.
