classical guitars
Does anyone have any suggestions of a decent classical guitar for around $200-300? Nothing fancy, but if it had an acoustic pickup that would be even better.

Question about my Hot Rod Deluxe.
THis amp is good for my use. The only problem i'm coming across is getting the tubes to really power the amp. The only way to do it is to turn it up really loud. Which is too loud for my use. I can't turn it past 3 or 4 without being too loud. Is there a way i can turn it up louder, but get less volume, and at the same time allowing to tubes to really push the amp?

My old marshall 80w valvestate has been showing aging signs for a few years. I am seriously thinking of finding a replacement in a not so far away future.

Attn: ProTools LE/ M-powered users
I am debating on getting the Mbox with ProTools LE/ M-powered.
I have a Line6 GuitarPort which rocks. I know with Cakewalk I can use it as an input but can I with Protools???

What do pots do to humbuckers?
What do the different value pots (potentomitors?) do for/to a pickup?
Like the 250k, 500k and 1Meg pots, do they just give a wider range of sound possible?

Seems too good to be true......is it?
from : localhost/a little too good to be true, honestly it looks like the Fender Showmasters (my fave body shape) only it has the one thing I want different which is it is all mahogany, and no annoying stupid inlays (I don't mind the showmaster elite one but only if it was one at the 12th fret not all the way up the neck).

Wow...
I just restrung my strat with some DR Pure Blues... I immediately fell in love. I had some Elixir strings on it before, and while they sounded pretty nice the coating was wearing off and sticking to the fretboard, leaving some pretty nasty looking gray splotches on the nitro. I wiped it down with some naphtha and slapped the DRs on there, and could immediately tell a difference. I've never really been one to hear much of a difference from brand to brand, but this was instantaneous. Very cool strings!

some advice re: Fender Combo Amps
Hey guys. I am most likely going to buy a Fender combo amp this summer and began checking what options are available, but there are so many. I haven't any clue where to even start. I play a Tele, Strat, and a Les Paul and am currently using a Marshall DSL 2000 stack but want a different sound than the Marshall. Hence looking for a real versatile Fender combo for hard rock/blues/funk/pop music. Here's some of the specs I am looking for:

Bigsby vibrato tailpiece pros and cons
Hi all,
Here it goes: I want to mod my inexpensive SG copy with a Bigsby vibrato (or an inexpensive work-alike if I can find one). I already got a killer deal on a roller bridge (a no-name brand but decent quality as far as I can judge, having tinkered with guitars for 15 years). There are a few things that come to mind, and a few questions I cannot answer myself at the moment. Please help me and shed some light if you can. Thank you.
