Looking over their site I'm a bit confused.
Can I get the same sounds out of a POD XT as the Duoverb?

Well I just got my Gothic Les Paul this morning and I think I broke it only a few minutes ago. The nut around the input on the guitar was very loose so I tightened it up with a wrench and now when I plug into an amp the guitar is dead, no sound comes out. Was probably stupid of me to do that but I'm not sure exactly what I broke or how to fix it. Any ideas of what might have happened when I did that or what I should do? I'm not really an expert when it comes to the electronics inside the guitar.

I was wondering what brand makes the closest to a real paf. I'm looking for a smaller magnet paf type pickup thats wound somewhere around 8-9. Or if anyone knows of a good custom shop that could replicate a paf.

Curious if any of the gurus like Lew, Evan, etc have anything info they could share on this subject.

I just restrung my strat with some DR Pure Blues... I immediately fell in love. I had some Elixir strings on it before, and while they sounded pretty nice the coating was wearing off and sticking to the fretboard, leaving some pretty nasty looking gray splotches on the nitro. I wiped it down with some naphtha and slapped the DRs on there, and could immediately tell a difference. I've never really been one to hear much of a difference from brand to brand, but this was instantaneous. Very cool strings!

whats everyones fave semi hollow pup combination?

I'm changing the pups on my Schecter 006 Deluxe. I just opened it up and can't figure out what each tab on the three way switch does. It looks sort of like my diagram, with the red wires coming from the neck humbucker and the black coming from the bridge. Niether are 4 conductor.

I'm just being curious. There's a few different things I'd like to try out. What would be the best way to cut a mag? I know if some get too hot, they lose their properties.

I'm checking out a Washburn HB32, which is like a mahogany ES335 clone. I've only played one or two Washburn hollowbodies briefly, but I've never had a chance to plug one in. Until I get in some playing time on this thing, I was wondering if anyone had any particular insight on any of Washburns Hollowbodies, or this one in particular?

Has anybody else here had problems with string oscillation -- and does anyone have some tips to fix it?

I'm puttin together a project kramer pacer right now, just bought the new neck off of ebay (warmoth). The body is in the beginning phases of getting finished, its gonna be a vintage cream, and all the hardware is black (including the OFR, of course).

Just curious, why is it that you dont see many mahagany necks with maple fingerboards? bad tone, woods won't adhere well? or maybe they're out there but I haven't seen them....what do you think the tonal charactoristics would be?

I have two Boss overdrive petals (SD-1, OD-2) that I don't like that much. I already have a nice selection of others that I like just fine, so I am thinking maybe there would be some mods that I could make to these that might add dimension to my existing fleet. Any mods would be just for fun, and to improve the interest of these units. Any suggestions ?
