Looking over their site I'm a bit confused.
Can I get the same sounds out of a POD XT as the Duoverb?

It's particularly cool hooked up to a Variax.
yeah, haha, i think its hillarious that they have a preset with the variax for mike ness (lead social distortion)
it's called like soapbar crunch or something, sounds exactly like him
i guess you could get the same sounds and preamps but i would sound different, coz one is an amp and the other is the POD .

Yeah, I see what your saying but does the PODXT sound as good as the duoverb? The soundclips on Line 6's site for the duoverb are great. The XT not so great...
I'll try and get out tomorow and check these out...
RCM, bear in mind that your pod XT has to go through an amp or a PA system - that can make it sound a bit different from headphones or just in a mixing desk. N ot necessarily worse, just different.

Yeah, thats no biggie. I planned on running it through a poweramp into a 2X12 cab with 150W EV's...
haha i remember in the store i hated the sound of the dual recto, but when i got home, ran it through the 100 amp; cab, man it sounds GOOD
