My old marshall 80w valvestate has been showing aging signs for a few years. I am seriously thinking of finding a replacement in a not so far away future.
I have seen on the web the Peavey XXL which seems to offer quite an impressive versatility, with the different tweaking around the three channels, and the power level switch (I quite fancy this one). I still need to try it but I am not sure I want an amp that big.
Would you happen to know about other amps that would be versatile in the way of the aforementioned but maybe smaller. What would you recommend as a versatile amp, let say for less than 900$, 750€ or £500.
