I'm looking for an effect with unconventional sounds. I looked up the Electro-Harmonix Q-Tron on harmony-central, and liked the review of the sound. However, it seems that the effect has one terrible side; the reliability.

Is there an easy solution to getting cleaner richer tap harmonics? Will a treble booster or a mid boost push the notes to clean bell like quality?

Sorry if this is an insult to anyone's playing ability including my own, but I don't understand how to achieve certain pitches when I'm applying artificial (pinch) harmonics. I don't know if certain pitches come naturally when I hit the string(s) at certain places or not.
Just to give an example, lets say G string 11th fret (F#) and my target pitch is an A#, how would I achieve the A#?

Both are two conductor wiring, but can be replaced with 4 conductor wiring involving a deal with an AP2. Both are black pickups. Hmmm.....Am I missing anything else? i've always run my DD3 in the loop with no problems for the past 2 or so years that i've had it. it's been a few months since i used it, but today i fired it up and at first everything sounded alright, but after it was on for a couple of seconds the tone of each repeat would completely deteriorate. it's hard to describe exactly what it sounded like, but each repeat that came through would get progressively more fuzzier/distorted, accompanied by some very nasty white noise.

OK, I actual own a Warmoth built it yourself guitar and I am thinking about giving them another chance.

I know it's along shot, but...I need a left handed Strat neck, would prefer fetted maple neck, small headstock, 21 MJ frets, 1 11/16 at the nut and a fat as possible. Does not have to be a Fender neck but must be high quality. Please PM me with details

Not sure how many have read some of the threads I've been posting recently. Basically I've been *****ing about my amp, Marshall JTM 60. I've come to the decision that I'm going to get a new one, as soon as I can afford one anyway. I'm not sure how relevent me giving you my price range will be as I'm a Brit, and we seem to pay a lot more for most things over the pond, but it's hopefully going to be about £1000 ($1900) once I've sold my current amp.

I just played on this Schecter c-1 E/A and I was wondering what this switch does. I use a schecter c/sh-1 and would I be able to put one of these switches into the guitar? and if so does anyone know how?

hey guys, new to the forum. im torn between two boutique humbuckers,
Peter Florance's Voodoo 59s and Lollar Imperials. clips of both sounded great. ive heard many say the Voodoo's are bright, and the Imperials are unpotted so they might tend to squeel under high gain. has anybody had experience with either pup? thanks

One of my guitars has a really fat tone - fattest I've ever played. Great highs and mids but there is too much low end that sounds flubby when you start to increase gain. It would sound so awesome if I could just reduce the low end a little bit. I'm wondering if anyone has ever used some sort of high pass filter inside the guitar to accomplish something like this? If so, what did you do?
