I just put an old aftermarket vintage trem on my strat. My buddy brought it over for me try before I get the Callaham setup and I may not need to now. It is a single piece unit(not bolted on to the top plate), cast steel(not potmetal) with heavy saddles that weighs in at 350 grams. The stock MIM trem weighs in at a mere 220 grams and looks pretty pathetic in comparison. The block has S.T.C. Made in Japan cast into it, anyone know what make it may be? How does the weight compare to the Callaham or Fender RI? The change in tone was dramatic, much fuller, more sparkly and better sustain.

I was just curious as to how many people have ever used these and what they thought of them for their price.

Anyone? Please tell me your thoughts!

Hey all I'll try to post pics. If they don't come through, PM me and I'll get them to you. I have a Ibanez RB 630(P-bass) in nice shape with hard case. A Hartke 2115 200w 1x15 combo in nice shape.( missing two eq slider buttons and a rip in the carpet on one side.) Sounds great. A Ryder 2x15 bass cab with 2 Altec Lansing 421A speakers. I just recovered this and added all new hardware. It has tophat handles and recessed casters. The beauty of this package is the head comes out of the 2115 and goes on top of the Ryder so you can have a compact 1x15 rig or a nice big 2x12 rig also! If it doesn't go here, I'm going to list it on E-bay for $600. I'll let it go to a Bro. for $500. Later! Mike

An immaculate blue EXP QT w/Peavey hardshell case (the rectangular one).
Purchased 8/9/04 - only 6 months old. No scratches, dings, etc. Still has plastic over rear access covers. Beautiful blue (looks aquamarine to me) black and cream zebra humbuckers, D-tuna, all wrenches, long plastic piece that slips under strings on maple fretboard, whammy bar. Eddie Van Halen signature on back of headstock.

hi! eor has just come up on a schecter c1 e/a, with a jb and a jazz in it, as well as a piezo in the bridge. is it still possible to split the pups? it is a hollow body guitar, so i want to be cautious. can the piezo and split pups still be blended?
