Hello, I ordered a set of Seth Lovers for my SG, Today I have receive it, but the set is wrong, I Have receive two neck Pickups... What happens if I use two necks pickups in my guitar? I contact with the shop and there isn't stock in Spain of Seth bridge... what other do you think that match with a Seth in the neck.

I was wondering if the Live Wires can be set up for coil tapping switches? I would like to utilize a wiring circuit similar to those found on the vintage BC Rich Warlocks. I'm not talking using a varitone in the circuit but something like a coil tap for each pickup in the set and a phase switch for the set in addition to the main controls that come with the set.

I have only had this amp about 2 weeks I bought it new. The head is 120 watts with 3 channels clean, drive 1, drive 2. It has 1 tube in the preamp reverb each drive channel has a nid boost switch and there also a vibe switch on the drive channels to thicken them up some. the clean channel has a bright switch as well. It's a good sounding amp will do anything from blues clean to pretty heavy stuff. It comes with a 3 button footswitch and the manual and the box i got it in. I purchased it new. the only reason i am selling it is i just want something alittle different. I am asking $250 plus shipping which i figure will only be about $20 its fairly light. I will ship it insured. I would also be willing to trade it and some cash for a mesa 50 caliber head. oh I have pics if any one is interested just send me your email.

Should I chose to get a good tube distortion pedal (EH English Muff'N, Vox Cooltron Bulldog) or a great analoge one (Jekyll and Hyde, Rat, Big Muff Pie), would it be stupid to get a SS amp with it? Would the SS poweramp rob the pedal of its tone? Also, would the already clean preset EQ make the distortion pedal not work at its full potential, or at the contrary add even more tones to it?
I'm thinking of retiring the Laney AOR for when I get a band and getting a 15 watts SS amp (for size matters), that I'd keep on the clean channels and then use a good distortion as a second channel.

Alright, I'm going to actually buy a modeling amp, because my Fender is incredible, but I want something to do high gain...

I am interested in pretty much any parts as of this point. Looking to get a repair shop going and need spare parts.

I am working on a project and it is getting to the point that I need to get the switching Figured out. Hum -Sing-Hum config. I would like to have the standard 2 humbucker/3way switching on positions 1-3 of a 5 way switch and on positions 4 and 5 I would like to run the single in normal and tapped mode. Can this be done or should I just forget it on go with the Mega Switch setup (all humbucking options)? Any other options? Lew, Artie, T4D, John?

I was looking through one of Dan Erlewine's books at a friend's place the other day and read a section that struck me as interesting. Buzz Feiten was explaining how he shims the necks on all his Fenders to have a slightly negative neck angle. He claimed this improves the bass response and makes the guitar more resonant as a whole.

I have an Ibanez 470, HSH, with 1 volume, and 1 tone. Should I get 500 or 250 CTS tone pots?

My frets are wearing fast on my strat because of lots of playing time. I think this is also taking a toll on my intonation as some frets have little to no wear compared to others.

Why the Alnico II instead of the SSL's? How is the sound different from the SSL's? Are there more or less bass mids or treble?

Is it a good match? Which do you have - the Alnico 2 or 5? Can you explain the difference? Thinking about this set for my LP before they're gone.

A while ago I posted a thread asking for help with my delay pedal in my FX loop. What I found out from various people was that the pedal I was using was designed for different signal levels (-10db) than what the FX loop was running ( 4db) and the signal coming from the FX loop send was overdriving the pedal's circuits, causing that mushy fuzzy echo sound.
